Visit Guam and you will see the smiles and feel the warmth of our people because of our culture, traditions and strong family bonds. A diverse island, Guam is a melting pot with a rich history. One can be exposed to a wide range of people and their cultures from the smallest island in the Pacific, to far away countries in Asia, Europe and little towns in the United Sates. Our customs blend us, our tradition molds us and our families bond us. Because of Guam’s size, we are unique in that everyone is somehow connected and because of these connections, we are closer to each other in our hearts. We live in harmony and although we are not the richest nation in the world, our hearts are made of gold.
UNEARTHED FACT: My mom used to work for the airlines so I traveled a lot, that’s when I became a passionate traveler.
I SAY: To be successful takes a lot of hard work, dedication, patience and determination and along with it comes failure. Through failure, character is created and it gives us the ability and strength to be able to learn how to pick ourselves up when we stumble and fall upon the many obstacles in life .
